So the Prophet Salih (PBUH) said to them that he is  a messenger of ALLAH (SWT)  , and he asked them to stop  worshipping  idols and to worship only ALLAH (SWT) the only true God of the world who created every thing . The people of Thamud asked prophet Salih (PBUH) to show them a miracle to prove that he is a messenger of ALLAH (SWT) and they themselves specified the wanted miracle , so they said to him : we want you to show us a she-camel that is born from the rocks of the mountain , and it eats grass and drinks water and walks among people and also it produces a big amount of milk. The people of Thamud  promised the prophet Salih (PBUH) to believe him , if he showd them that miracle. So the Prophet Salih (PBUH) prayed to ALLAH (SWT)...
