Transaltion (1) :
[1] Holy Quran – chapter : 6 - Surat : Al- An’am (The Cattle ) – Verses : 74 - 81
In the name of Allah, the Almighty God, Most Benficent , Most Merciful
And (remember) when Ibrâhim (Abraham) said to his father Azar:
"Do you take idols as âlihâh (gods)? Verily, I see you and your people in
manifest error. " (74)
Thus did we show Ibrâhim
(Abraham) the kingdom of the heavens and the earth that he be one of those who
have Faith with certainty (75)
When the night covered him over with darkness he saw a star. He
said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said: "I like not
those that set." (76)
When he saw the moon rising
up, he said: "This is my lord." But when it set, he said:
"Unless my Lord guides me, I shall surely be among the people who went
astray." (77)
When he saw the sun rising up, he said: "This is my lord. This
is greater." But when it set, he said: "O my people! I am indeed free
from all that you join as partners (in worship with Allâh). (78)
Verily, I have turned my
face towards Him Who has created the heavens and the earth Hanifa
(Islâmic Monotheism, i.e. worshipping none but Allâh Alone) and I am not of
Al-Mushrikûn (see V.2:105)". (79)
His people disputed with him. He said: "Do you dispute with me
concerning Allâh while He has guided me, and I fear not those whom you
associate with Him (Allâh) in worship. (Nothing can happen to me) except when
my Lord (Allâh) wills something. My Lord comprehends in His Knowledge all
things. Will you not then remember? (80)
And how should I fear those
whom you associate in worship with Allâh (though they can neither benefit nor
harm), while you fear not that you have joined in worship with Allâh things for
which He has not sent down to you any authority. (So) which of the two parties
has more right to be in security? If you but know." (81)
[2] Holy Quran – chapter : 21 - Surat : Al- Anbiya (The Prophets ) – Verses : 51 - 70
In the name of Allah, the Almighty God, Most Benficent , Most Merciful
And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Ibrâhim (Abraham) his (portion
of) guidance, and We were Well-Acquainted with him (as to his Belief in the
Oneness of Allâh). (51)
When he said to his father
and his people: "What are these images, to which you are devoted?" (52)
They said:"We found our
fathers worshipping them." (53)
He said: "Indeed you
and your fathers have been in manifest error." (54)
They said: "Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of
those who play about?" (55)
He said: "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the
earth, Who created them and to that I am one of the witnesses. (56)
"And by Allâh, I shall
plot a plan (to destroy) your idols after you have gone away and turned your
backs." (57)
So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that
they might turn to it. (58)
They said: "Who has
done this to our âlihah (gods)? He must indeed be one of the Zalimun
(wrong-doers)." (59)
They said: "We heard a young man talking against them, who is
called Ibrâhim (Abraham)." (60)
They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that
they may testify." (61)
They said: "Are you the
one who has done this to our gods, O Ibrâhim (Abraham)?" (62) [Ibrâhim
(Abraham)] said: "Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask
them, if they can speak!" (63)
So they turned to themselves
and said: "Verily, you are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and
wrong-doers)." (64)
Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said):
"Indeed you [Ibrâhim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak
not!" (65)
[Ibrâhim (Abraham)] said: "Do you then worship besides Allâh,
things that can neither profit you, nor harm you? (66)
"Fie upon you, and upon
that which you worship besides Allâh! Have you then no sense?" (67)
They said: "Burn him and help your âlihah (gods), if you will
be doing." (68)
We (Allâh) said: "O
fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrâhim (Abraham)!" (69)
And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst
losers. (70)
[3] Holy Quran –
chapter : 37 - Surat : As-Saffat (The Alignment ) – Verses : 97 - 113
In the name of Allah, the Almighty God, Most Benficent , Most Merciful
They said: "Build for him a building (it is said that the
building was like a furnace) and throw him into the blazing fire!" (97)
So they plotted a plot
against him, but We made them the lowest. (98)
And he said (after his rescue from the fire): "Verily, I am
going to my Lord. He will guide me!" (99) "My Lord! Grant me
(offspring) from the righteous." (100)
So We gave him the glad
tidings of a forbearing boy. (101)
And, when he (his son) was old enough to walk with him, he said:
"O my son! I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering you (offer you in
sacrifice to Allâh), so look what you think!" He said: "O my father!
Do that which you are commanded, Inshâ' Allâh (if Allâh will), you shall find
me of As-Sâbirun (the patient)." (102)
Then, when they had both submitted themselves (to the Will of
Allâh), and he had laid him prostrate on his forehead (or on the side of his
forehead for slaughtering); (103)
And We called out to him: "O Abraham! (104)
You have fulfilled the dream!" Verily! thus do We reward the
Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112). (105) Verily, that indeed was a manifest
trial. (106)
And We ransomed him with a great sacrifice (i.e. کبش -
a ram); (107)
And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among the later
generations. (108)
Salâmun (peace) be upon Ibrâhim (Abraham)!" (109)
Thus indeed do We reward the
Muhsinûn (good-doers - see V.2:112). (110)
Verily, he was one of Our
believing slaves. (111)
And We gave him the glad tidings of Ishâq (Isaac) a Prophet from
the righteous. (112)
We blessed him and Ishâq
(Isaac), and of their progeny are (some) that do right, and some that plainly
wrong themselves. (113)
[4] Holy Quran – chapter : 2 - Surat : Al- Baqarah (The Cow
) – Verses : 124 - 132
In the name of Allah, the Almighty God, Most Benficent , Most Merciful
And (remember) when the Lord of Ibrâhim (Abraham) [i.e.,
Allâh] tried him with (certain) Commands, which he fulfilled. He (Allâh) said
(to him), "Verily, I am going to make you Imam (a leader) for mankind (to
follow you)." [Ibrâhim (Abraham)] said, "And of my offspring (to make
leaders)." (Allâh) said, "My Covenant (Prophethood) includes not
Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)." (124)
And (remember) when We made
the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) a place of resort for mankind and a place of
safety. And take you (people) the Maqâm (place) of Ibrâhim (Abraham) [or the
stone on which Ibrâhim (Abraham) A.S. stood while he was building the Ka'bah]
as a place of prayer (for some of your prayers, e.g. two Rak'at after the Tawâf
of the Ka'bah at Makkah), and We commanded Ibrâhim (Abraham) and Ismâ'il
(Ishmael) that they should purify My House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) for those who
are circumambulating it, or staying (I'tikâf), or bowing or prostrating
themselves (there, in prayer). (125)
And (remember) when Ibrâhim
(Abraham) said, "My Lord, make this city (Makkah) a place of security and
provide its people with fruits, such of them as believe in Allâh and the Last
Day." He (Allâh) answered: "As for him who disbelieves, I shall leave
him in contentment for a while, then I shall compel him to the torment of the
Fire, and worst indeed is that destination!" (126)
And (remember) when Ibrâhim (Abraham) and (his son) Ismâ'il (Ishmael)
were raising the foundations of the House (the Ka'bah at Makkah), (saying),
"Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us. Verily! You are the All-Hearer,
the All-Knower." (127)
"Our Lord! And make us
submissive unto You and of our offspring a nation submissive unto You, and show
us our Manâsik [] (all the ceremonies of pilgrimage - Hajj and 'Umrah), and
accept our repentance. Truly, You are the One Who accepts repentance, the Most
Merciful. (128)
"Our Lord! Send amongst
them a Messenger of their own (and indeed Allâh answered their invocation by
sending Muhammad Peace be upon him ), who shall recite unto them Your Verses
and instruct them in the Book (this Qur'ân) and Al-Hikmah (full knowledge of
the Islâmic laws and jurisprudence or wisdom or Prophethood), and purify them.
Verily! You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise." (129)
And who turns away from the
religion of Ibrâhim (Abraham) (i.e. Islâmic Monotheism) except him who befools
himself? Truly, We chose him in this world and verily, in the Hereafter he will
be among the righteous. (130)
When his Lord said to him, "Submit (i.e. be a Muslim)!"
He said, "I have submitted myself (as a Muslim) to the Lord of the 'Alamîn
(mankind, jinn and all that exists)." (131)
And this (submission to Allâh, Islâm) was enjoined by Ibrâhim
(Abraham) upon his sons and by Ya'qûb (Jacob), (saying), "O my sons! Allâh
has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of
Islâm (as Muslims - Islâmic Monotheism)." (132)
[5] Holy Quran – chapter : 22 - Surat : Al-Hajj ( The Pilgrimage ) – Verses : 26 - 32
In the name of Allah, the Almighty God, Most Benficent , Most Merciful
And (remember) when We showed Ibrâhim (Abraham) the site of the
(Sacred) House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) (saying): "Associate not anything
(in worship) with Me, [Lâ ilâha ill-allâh (none has the right to be worshipped
but Allâh) Islâmic Monotheism], and sanctify My House for those who
circumambulate it, and those who stand up (for prayer), and those who bow
(submit themselves with humility and obedience to Allâh), and make prostration
(in prayer);" (26)
And proclaim to mankind the
Hajj (pilgrimage). They will come to you on foot and on every lean camel, they
will come from every deep and distant (wide) mountain highway (to perform
Hajj). (27)
That they may witness things
that are of benefit to them (i.e. reward of Hajj in the Hereafter, and also
some worldly gain from trade), and mention the Name of Allâh on appointed days
(i.e. 10th, 11th, 12th, and 13th day of Dhul-Hijjâh), over
the beast of cattle that He has provided for them (for sacrifice) (at the time
of their slaughtering by saying: Bismillah, Wallâhu-Akbar, Allâhumma Minka wa
Ilaik). Then eat thereof and feed therewith the poor who have a very hard time.
(28)
Then let them complete their
prescribed duties (Manâsik of Hajj), and perform their vows, and circumambulate
the Ancient House (the Ka'bah at Makkah) (29)
That (Manâsik prescribed duties of Hajj is the obligation that
mankind owes to Allâh), and whoever honours the sacred things of Allâh, then
that is better for him with his Lord. The cattle are lawful to you, except
those (that will be) mentioned to you (as exceptions). So shun the abomination
(worshipping) of idol, and shun lying speech (false statements)[]— (30)
Hunafâ' Lillâh (i.e. to worship none but Allâh), not associating
partners (in worship) unto Him, and whoever assigns partners to Allâh, it is as
if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds had snatched him, or the wind had
thrown him to a far off place. (31)
Thus it is [what has been mentioned in the above said Verses (27, 28, 29, 30, 31)
is an obligation that mankind owes to Allâh]. and whosoever honours the Symbols
of Allâh, then it is truly from the piety of the hearts. (32)
