The Supreme Attributes of ALLAH The Almighty GOD (SWT) in Holy Quran ( Part 2)
صفات الله عز وجل العُظمى العُـلى التي وردت في القران الكريم :
﴿ فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ جَعَلَ لَكُم مِّنْ
أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ أَزْوَاجًا ۖ يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ ۚ
لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ ﴾
[
الشورى : 11 ]
The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you mates from yourselves, and for the cattle (also) mates. By this means He creates you (in the wombs). There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.
2) فاطر السموات والارض
﴿ فَاطِرُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ جَعَلَ
لَكُم مِّنْ أَنفُسِكُمْ أَزْوَاجًا وَمِنَ الْأَنْعَامِ أَزْوَاجًا ۖ
يَذْرَؤُكُمْ فِيهِ ۚ لَيْسَ كَمِثْلِهِ شَيْءٌ ۖ وَهُوَ السَّمِيعُ الْبَصِيرُ ﴾
[
الشورى : 11 ]
The Creator of the heavens and the earth. He has made for you mates from yourselves, and for the cattle (also) mates. By this means He creates you (in the wombs). There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, the All-Seer.
3) عالم الغيب والشهادة
﴿ ذَٰلِكَ عَالِمُ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ
الْعَزِيزُ الرَّحِيمُ ﴾
[
السجدة : 6 ]
﴿ That is He, the All-Knower of the unseen and the seen, the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful. ﴾
4) يوتي الملك من يشاء وينزع الملك ممن يشاء
﴿ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ
وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ
ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ ال عمران : 26 ]
﴿ Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. ﴾
5) يعز من يشاء ويذلك من يشاء
﴿ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ
وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ
ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ ال عمران : 26 ]
Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. ﴾
6) بيده الخير
﴿ قُلِ اللَّهُمَّ مَالِكَ الْمُلْكِ تُؤْتِي الْمُلْكَ مَن تَشَاءُ
وَتَنزِعُ الْمُلْكَ مِمَّن تَشَاءُ وَتُعِزُّ مَن تَشَاءُ وَتُذِلُّ مَن تَشَاءُ
ۖ بِيَدِكَ الْخَيْرُ ۖ إِنَّكَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ ال عمران : 26 ]
Say (O Muhammad SAW): “O Allah! Possessor of the kingdom, You give the kingdom to whom You will, and You take the kingdom from whom You will, and You endue with honour whom You will, and You humiliate whom You will. In Your Hand is the good. Verily, You are Able to do all things. ﴾
7) خالق كل شيء
﴿ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ رَبُّكُمْ خَالِقُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ لَّا إِلَٰهَ
إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ﴾
[ غافر : 62 ]
﴿ That is Allah, your Lord, the Creator of all things, La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), where then you are turning away (from Allah, by worshipping others instead of Him)! ﴾
8) بيده ملكوت كل شيء
﴿ فَسُبْحَانَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَإِلَيْهِ
تُرْجَعُونَ﴾
[
يس : 83 ]
So Glorified is He and Exalted above all that they
associate with Him, and in Whose Hands is the dominion of all things, and to
Him you shall be returned.
﴿ قُلْ مَن بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا
يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون : 88 ]
Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." [Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, Vol. 12, Page 145]
9) يجير ولا يجار عليه
﴿ قُلْ مَن بِيَدِهِ مَلَكُوتُ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ وَهُوَ يُجِيرُ وَلَا
يُجَارُ عَلَيْهِ إِن كُنتُمْ تَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ المؤمنون : 88 ]
Say "In Whose Hand is the sovereignty of everything (i.e. treasures of each and everything)? And He protects (all), while against Whom there is no protector, (i.e. if Allah saves anyone none can punish or harm him, and if Allah punishes or harms anyone none can save him), if you know." 10) له مقاليد السموات والارض ، يبسط الرزق لمن يشاء ويقدر
﴿ لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ
لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ﴾
[ الشورى : 12 ]
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth, He enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily! He is the All-Knower of everything.
11) يبسط الرزق لمن
يشاء ويقدر
﴿ لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ
لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ﴾
[ الشورى : 12 ]
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth, He enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily! He is the All-Knower of everything.
12) بكل شيء عليم
﴿ لَهُ مَقَالِيدُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يَبْسُطُ الرِّزْقَ
لِمَن يَشَاءُ وَيَقْدِرُ ۚ إِنَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ عَلِيمٌ﴾
[ الشورى : 12 ]
To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth, He enlarges provision for whom He wills, and straitens (it for whom He wills). Verily! He is the All-Knower of everything.
13) غافر الذنب قابل التوب شديد العقاب ذي الطول
﴿ غَافِرِ الذَّنبِ وَقَابِلِ التَّوْبِ شَدِيدِ الْعِقَابِ ذِي
الطَّوْلِ ۖ لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا هُوَ ۖ إِلَيْهِ الْمَصِيرُ﴾
[ غافر : 3 ]
[ غافر: 3]
The Forgiver of sin, the Acceptor of repentance, the Severe in punishment, the Bestower (of favours), La ilaha illa Huwa (none has the right to be worshipped but He), to Him is the final return.
14) اذا قضى امرا فانما يقول له كن فيكون
﴿ هُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ فَإِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا
فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ﴾
[ غافر : 68]
He it is Who gives life and causes death. And when He decides upon a thing He says to it only: "Be!" and it is.
15) الذي يحيي ويميت
﴿ هُوَ الَّذِي يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ فَإِذَا قَضَىٰ أَمْرًا
فَإِنَّمَا يَقُولُ لَهُ كُن فَيَكُونُ﴾
[ غافر : 68]
He it is Who gives life and causes death. And when He decides upon a thing He says to it only: "Be!" and it is.
16) على كل شيء قدير
﴿ لَهُ مُلْكُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ يُحْيِي وَيُمِيتُ ۖ
وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ الحديد : 2]
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth, It is He Who gives life and causes death; and He is Able to do all things.
﴿ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ التغابن: 1]
Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth glorifies Allah. His is the dominion, and to Him belong all the praises and thanks, and He is Able to do all things.
17) له الكبرياء في السموات والارض
﴿ وَلَهُ الْكِبْرِيَاءُ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ ۖ وَهُوَ
الْعَزِيزُ الْحَكِيمُ﴾
[ الجاثية ]
And His (Alone) is the Majesty in the heavens and the earth, and He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
18) له جنود السموات والارض
( وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ
عَزِيزًا حَكِيمًا )
[ الفتح : 7 ]
And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth. And Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.
﴿ هُوَ الَّذِي أَنزَلَ السَّكِينَةَ فِي قُلُوبِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ
لِيَزْدَادُوا إِيمَانًا مَّعَ إِيمَانِهِمْ ۗ وَلِلَّهِ جُنُودُ السَّمَاوَاتِ
وَالْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ عَلِيمًا حَكِيمًا﴾
[ الفتح : 4 ]
He it is Who sent down As-Sakinah (calmness and tranquillity) into the hearts of the believers, that they may grow more in Faith along with their (present) Faith. And to Allah belong the hosts of the heavens and the earth, and Allah is Ever All-Knower, All-Wise.
19) فالق الحب والنوي
﴿ إِنَّ اللَّهَ فَالِقُ
الْحَبِّ وَالنَّوَىٰ ۖ يُخْرِجُ الْحَيَّ مِنَ الْمَيِّتِ وَمُخْرِجُ الْمَيِّتِ
مِنَ الْحَيِّ ۚ ذَٰلِكُمُ اللَّهُ ۖ فَأَنَّىٰ تُؤْفَكُونَ﴾
[ الانعام : 95 ]
Verily! It is Allah Who causes the seed-grain and the fruit-stone (like date-stone, etc.) to split and sprout. He brings forth the living from the dead, and it is He Who brings forth the dead from the living. Such is Allah, then how are you deluded away from the truth?
20) فالق الاصباح
﴿ فَالِقُ الْإِصْبَاحِ وَجَعَلَ اللَّيْلَ سَكَنًا وَالشَّمْسَ
وَالْقَمَرَ حُسْبَانًا ۚ ذَٰلِكَ تَقْدِيرُ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَلِيمِ﴾
[ الانعام : 96]
He is the Cleaver of the daybreak. He has appointed the night for resting, and the sun and the moon for reckoning. Such is the measuring of the All-Mighty, the All-Knowing.
21) رفيع الدرجات ذو العرش
﴿ رَفِيعُ الدَّرَجَاتِ ذُو الْعَرْشِ يُلْقِي الرُّوحَ مِنْ أَمْرِهِ
عَلَىٰ مَن يَشَاءُ مِنْ عِبَادِهِ لِيُنذِرَ يَوْمَ التَّلَاقِ﴾
[ غافر : 15 ]
(He is Allah) Owner of High Ranks and Degrees, the Owner of the Throne. He sends the Inspiration by His Command to any of His slaves He wills, that he (the person who receives inspiration) may warn (men) of the Day of Mutual Meeting (i.e. The Day of Resurrection).
22) ارحم الراحمين
﴿ قَالَ رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لِي وَلِأَخِي وَأَدْخِلْنَا فِي رَحْمَتِكَ ۖ
وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ﴾
[ الاعراف : 151 ]
Musa (Moses) said: "O my Lord! Forgive me and my brother, and make us enter into Your Mercy, for you are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy."
﴿ قَالَ هَلْ آمَنُكُمْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا كَمَا أَمِنتُكُمْ عَلَىٰ
أَخِيهِ مِن قَبْلُ ۖ فَاللَّهُ خَيْرٌ حَافِظًا ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ﴾
[ يوسف : 64 ]
﴿ He said: "Can I entrust him to you except as I entrusted his brother [Yusuf (Joseph)] to you aforetime? But Allah is the Best to guard, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy."
﴿ قَالَ لَا تَثْرِيبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْيَوْمَ ۖ يَغْفِرُ اللَّهُ
لَكُمْ ۖ وَهُوَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ﴾
[ يوسف : 92 ]
He said: "No reproach on you this day, may Allah forgive you, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy!
﴿ وَأَيُّوبَ إِذْ نَادَىٰ رَبَّهُ أَنِّي مَسَّنِيَ الضُّرُّ
وَأَنتَ أَرْحَمُ الرَّاحِمِينَ﴾
[ الانبياء : 83 ]
And (remember) Ayub (Job), when he cried to his Lord: "Verily, distress has seized me, and You are the Most Merciful of all those who show mercy."
23) خير الراحمين
﴿ إِنَّهُ كَانَ فَرِيقٌ مِّنْ عِبَادِي
يَقُولُونَ رَبَّنَا آمَنَّا فَاغْفِرْ لَنَا وَارْحَمْنَا وَأَنتَ خَيْرُ
الرَّاحِمِينَ﴾
[ المؤمنون : 109 ]
Verily! There was a party of My slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!"
24) احكم الحاكمين
( أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ بِأَحْكَمِ الْحَاكِمِينَ )
[ التين : 8 ]
Is not Allah the Best of judges?
25) عزيز ذي انتقام
﴿ وَمَن يَهْدِ اللَّهُ فَمَا لَهُ مِن مُّضِلٍّ ۗ أَلَيْسَ اللَّهُ
بِعَزِيزٍ ذِي انتِقَامٍ ﴾
[ الزمر : 37]
And whomsoever Allah guides, for him there will be no misleader. Is not Allah All-Mighty, Possessor of Retribution?
26) رب الفلق
﴿ قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ﴾
[ الفلق : 1 ]
Say: "I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of the daybreak,
27) لا تدركه الابصار وهو يدرك الابصار
﴿ لَّا تُدْرِكُهُ الْأَبْصَارُ وَهُوَ يُدْرِكُ الْأَبْصَارَ ۖ
وَهُوَ اللَّطِيفُ الْخَبِيرُ﴾
[ الانعام : 103 ]
[ الأنعام: 103]
No vision can grasp Him, but His Grasp is over all vision. He is the Most Subtle and Courteous, Well-Acquainted with all things.
28) مالك يوم الدين
﴿ مَالِكِ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ﴾
[ الفاتحة : 4 ]
The Only Owner (and the Only Ruling Judge) of the Day of Recompense (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)
29) له الملك وله الحمد وهو على كل شيء قدير
﴿ يُسَبِّحُ لِلَّهِ مَا فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۖ
لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ ۖ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ﴾
[ التغابن: 1]
Whatsoever is in the heavens and whatsoever is on the earth glorifies Allah. His is the dominion, and to Him belong all the praises and thanks, and He is Able to do all things.
30)لم يلد ولم يولد لم يكن له كفوا احد
﴿ ﴿ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ وَلَمْ
يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ﴾
[ الاخلاص : 3 – 4 ]
He begets not, nor was He begotten
And there is none co-equal or comparable unto Him .
31) بكل شيء محيط
﴿ وَلِلَّهِ مَا فِي
السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَا فِي الْأَرْضِ ۚ وَكَانَ اللَّهُ بِكُلِّ شَيْءٍ مُّحِيطًا ﴾
[ النساء : 126 ]
And to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth. And Allah is Ever Encompassing all things.
32) غالب على امره
﴿ وَقَالَ الَّذِي اشْتَرَاهُ مِن مِّصْرَ لِامْرَأَتِهِ أَكْرِمِي
مَثْوَاهُ عَسَىٰ أَن يَنفَعَنَا أَوْ نَتَّخِذَهُ وَلَدًا ۚ وَكَذَٰلِكَ
مَكَّنَّا لِيُوسُفَ فِي الْأَرْضِ وَلِنُعَلِّمَهُ مِن تَأْوِيلِ الْأَحَادِيثِ ۚ
وَاللَّهُ غَالِبٌ عَلَىٰ أَمْرِهِ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكْثَرَ النَّاسِ لَا يَعْلَمُونَ﴾
[ يوسف : 21 ]
And he (the man) from Egypt who bought him, said to his wife: "Make his stay comfortable, may be he will profit us or we shall adopt him as a son." Thus did We establish Yusuf (Joseph) in the land, that We might teach him the interpretation of events. And Allah has full power and control over His Affairs, but most of men know not.
