The Story of Prophet Ibrahim ( Abraham) PBUH in the Holy Quran (Part 6)

The  miracle of transforming the great fire into coldness and peace upon the Prophet Ibrahim ( PBUH ) :
ALLAH , the Almighty God  ( Glorified and Exalted is HE ) saved the Prophet Ibrahim ( Abraham) from the great fire by a great miracle that stands against all known scientific laws and rules. In that great miracle ;  ALLAH SWT ( Glorified and Exalted is HE ) ordered the fire to turn into coolness and saftey upon the Prophet Ibrahim (PBUH) , and the fire did so .
Glorified and Exalted is ALLAH the Almighty GOD , the Great LORD of the heavens and the earth .
The people of Abraham were idolators ( they worshiped idols ) , so the Prophet Abraham said to them that they should worship only ALLAH SWT the only true GOD  who has created the heavens and the earth  , and that they should not worship those idols ,as these idols are not gods but just statues (dummies ) that can not see nor hear and can not profit them nor they can harm them . The people of Abraham did not like what he said about their idols , and they said to him that their fathers and grandfathers used to worship these idols and they will just do the same . When they  left , Prophet Abrahm (PBUH) broke all the idols (with an axe) except the biggest one , and then he hanged the axe over the neck of that idol . When they come back to worship their idols , they found all idols are broken except the biggest idol with with an axe hanged over his neck , and were very mad and they knew that Prophet Abraham is the one who did that , so they brought  him in front of all people and they asked him:
why did he broke all of their idols ?
Prophet Abraham (PBUH) replied : I did not do that , but the biggest idol is the one who did it and you can see the axe is hanged over his neck , so you should ask the biggest idol why did he do that .
They said : that  idol is a statue and he can not be the one who broke the other idols, because he can not move or walk , also he can't hear nor can talk , therefore we can't ask him and he can't reply  !  How could we talk to a statue that can't hear nor talk ?
Prophet Abraham (BPUH) said to them :
why do you then  worship these idols despite they are only statues that can't hear , can't  talk ,can't move, can't walk , and can't do anything , also they can't profit you nor they can harm you .
When they hear his reply , they were greatly  imbaressed offended and discrased in front of all people , and they get very mad and therefore they asked the people to retaliate for their idols by kindling the biggest ever known fire and then to through Abraham into it .
So they kindled the biggest ever known fire and they thoough the Prophet Abraham (PBUH) into that big fire , and  there , one of the greatest miracles occured !

ALLAH , the Almighty God  ( Glorified and Exalted is HE ) saved the Prophet Ibrahim ( Abraham) from the great fire by a great miracle that stands against all known scientific laws and rules .
No wonder at all ,as  ALLAH is the Almighty God , the great Lord and the great Creator of whole universe , He can do whatever he want and capable of doing whatever he want , anytime , anywhere and nothing can stand against His will  ( May His Majesty be glorified ).
A very important fact that everybody should know :
The Honorable Prophet Muhammad ( PBUH ) is a descendant of Prophet Isma'il ( Ishmael ) the son of Prophet Ibrahim ( Abraham ) , and So Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham ) is the distant-ancestor of Prophet Muhammad .
( Peace be upon them all )

Translation (1) :

Holy Quran – chapter ( 21  ) – Surat : Al-Anbiya  ( The Prophets ) – Verses : 51- 70 .

In the Name of Allah, the Almighty God , the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

And indeed We bestowed aforetime on Ibrâhim (Abraham) his (portion of) guidance, and We were Well-Acquainted with him (as to his Belief in the Oneness of Allâh). (51)
When he said to his father and his people: "What are these images, to which you are devoted?" (52)
They said:"We found our fathers worshipping them." (53)
He said: "Indeed you and your fathers have been in manifest error." (54)
They said: "Have you brought us the truth, or are you one of those who play about?" (55)
He said: "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, Who created them and to that I am one of the witnesses. (56)
"And by Allâh, I shall plot a plan (to destroy) your idols after you have gone away and turned your backs." (57)
So he broke them to pieces, (all) except the biggest of them, that they might turn to it. (58) They said: "Who has done this to our âlihah (gods)? He must indeed be one of the Zalimun (wrong-doers)." (59)
They said: "We heard a young man talking against them, who is called Ibrâhim (Abraham)." (60)
They said: "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may testify." (61)
They said: "Are you the one who has done this to our gods, O Ibrâhim (Abraham)?" (62) [Ibrâhim (Abraham)] said: "Nay, this one, the biggest of them (idols) did it. Ask them, if they can speak!"[] (63)
So they turned to themselves and said: "Verily, you are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers)." (64)
Then they turned to themselves (their first thought and said): "Indeed you [Ibrâhim (Abraham)] know well that these (idols) speak not !" (65)
[Ibrâhim (Abraham)] said : " Do you then worship besides Allâh, things that can neither profit you, nor harm you? (66) " Fie upon you, and upon that which you worship besides Allâh ! Have you then no sense ?" (67)
They said: "Burn him and help your âlihah (gods), if you will be doing." (68)
We (Allâh) said: "O fire! Be you coolness and safety for Ibrâhim (Abraham)!" (69)
And they wanted to harm him, but We made them the worst losers. (70

Translation (2) :

Holy Quran – chapter ( 21  ) – Surat : Al-Anbiya  ( The Prophets ) – Verses : 51- 70 .

In the Name of Allah, the Almighty God , the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[21.66] He said: 'Would you then worship that, instead of Allah, which can neither help nor harm you?
[21.67] Shame on you and on that you worship other than Allah! Have you no understanding? '
[21.68] They said: 'Burn him and help your gods, if you are going to do anything! '
[21.69] 'O Fire, ' We said, 'be coolness and safety for Abraham. '
[21.70] They sought to outwit him, but We made them the worst of losers.

Translation (3) :

Holy Quran – chapter ( 21  ) – Surat : Al-Anbiya  ( The Prophets ) – Verses : 51- 70 .

In the Name of Allah, the Almighty God , the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

21-51
We bestowed aforetime on Abraham his rectitude of conduct, and well were We acquainted with him.
 21-52
Behold! he said to his father and his people, "What are these images, to which ye are (so assiduously) devoted?"
 21-53
They said, "We found our fathers worshipping them."
 21-54
He said, "Indeed ye have been in manifest error - ye and your fathers."
 21-55
They said, "Have you brought us the Truth, or are you one of those who jest?"
 21-56
He said, "Nay, your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, He Who created them (from nothing): and I am a witness to this (Truth).
 21-57
"And by God, I have a plan for your idols - after ye go away and turn your backs"..
 21-58
So he broke them to pieces, (all) but the biggest of them, that they might turn (and address themselves) to it.
 21-59
They said, "Who has done this to our gods? He must indeed be some man of impiety!"
 21-60
They said, "We heard a youth talk of them: He is called Abraham."
 21-61
They said, "Then bring him before the eyes of the people, that they may bear witness."
 21-62
They said, "Art thou the one that did this with our gods, O Abraham?"
 21-63
He said: "Nay, this was done by - this is their biggest one! ask them, if they can speak intelligently!"
 21-64
So they turned to themselves and said, "Surely ye are the ones in the wrong!"
 21-65
Then were they confounded with shame: (they said), "Thou knowest full well that these (idols) do not speak!"
 21-66
(Abraham) said, "Do ye then worship, besides God, things that can neither be of any good to you nor do you harm?
 21-67
"Fie upon you, and upon the things that ye worship besides God! Have ye no sense?"..
 21-68
They said, "Burn him and protect your gods, If ye do (anything at all)!"
 21-69
We said, "O Fire! be thou cool, and (a means of) safety for Abraham!"
 21-70
Then they sought a stratagem against him: but We made them the ones that lost most!

 Translation (4) :

Holy Quran – chapter ( 21  ) – Surat : Al-Anbiya  ( The Prophets ) – Verses : 51- 70 .

In the Name of Allah, the Almighty God , the All-beneficent, the All-merciful.

[21.51] Before this We gave Abraham his virtue, for We knew him.
[21.52] He said to his father and to his nation: 'What, are these the statues to which you cling? '
[21.53] They replied: 'We found our fathers worshipping them. '
[21.54] He said: 'Truly, you and your fathers are in clear error. '
[21.55] They said: 'Is it the truth you have brought us, or are you one of those that play? '
[21.56] 'No, ' he answered, 'your Lord is the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Originator of them, and I am among those bearing witness to it.
[21.57] By Allah, I will certainly outwit your idols as soon as you have turned your backs and gone. '
[21.58] He broke them all into pieces, except their great one so that they might return to it.
[21.59] 'Who has done this to our gods? ' they exclaimed. 'He must surely be a harmdoer. '
[21.60] 'We have heard a young man called Abraham mention them' they replied.
[21.61] They said: 'Then bring him here so that the people may see, so that they may bear witness. '
[21.62] 'Abraham, ' they said, 'was it you who did this to our gods? '
[21.63] 'No, ' he replied. 'It was their great one amongst them that did it. Ask them, if they are able to speak. '
[21.64] So they returned one to another saying, 'Surely, it is you who are the harmdoers! '
[21.65] But then they reversed their minds: 'You know they do not speak. '
